ALMOND OIL: extracted from the almond nut kernel and a rich source of proteins and minerals. Highly nutritious, naturally protecting and nourishing and especially recommended for dry skins. Has a calming effect on irritated skins. Found in our Bath & Massage Oils.
ALOE VERA EXTRACT: naturally soothes and cools skin and helps healing, has excellent moisturising properties. Aloe also has a calming effect on inflamed skin (such as sunburn). Found in our Body Lotions, Hand Care Range and Saucy Cow Softening Conditioner.
CALENDULA OIL: naturally soothing, regenerating and anti-inflammatory. Ideal for dry, damaged skin. Reduces redness and irritation, antifungal and antiseptic. Found in our Bath & Massage Oils.
CAMPHOR ESSENTIAL OIL: a balancing oil distilled from the wood, roots and branches of the camphor tree. Excellent for reducing inflammation and relieving muscular aches, pains and sprains. Also used in vapour therapy to ease respiratory problems. Found in Bullocks Muscle Rub Massage Oil.
CARROT SEED OIL: naturally high in carotene and vitamin A; very good for healthy skin and hair. Believed to stimulate red blood cells, adding tone and elasticity to skin and possibly reducing facial lines. Found in Cowlick Gentle Shampoo.
CEDARWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL: excellent for dry or oily skins and scalps, has a natural balancing effect on the sebaceous glands. Found in Bullocks Refining Facial Scrub.
CHAMOMILE ESSENTIAL OIL: renowned for its naturally soothing and healing effect on the skin and for helping to relieve stress. Found in our Lazy Cow Range.
CINNAMON ESSENTIAL OIL: a warming, spicy essential oil that is naturally astringent; has a toning action on the skin and stimulates the glandular system. Also a good antiseptic. Found in our Horny Cow Range.
CLARY SAGE ESSENTIAL OIL: distilled from the flowers and leaves of the plant, clary sage is deeply relaxing and imparts a feeling of well-being. Its antispasmodic properties are useful for soothing muscles; it is often used in skin care to help regenerate cells. Found in our Lazy Cow Range.
CLOVE BUD ESSENTIAL OIL: a warming, stimulating oil renowned for its natural antibacterial effect. Often used to treat joint and muscular pain. Has a spicy, woody aroma. Found in Bullocks Muscle Rub Massage Oil.
COCOA BUTTER: oil extracted from cocoa beans. Naturally moisturising; helps to leave skin soft and supple. Found in our Body Lotions.
COCONUT OIL: a tropical oil that is an easily absorbed skin moisturiser. Found in our Soaps.
CORIANDER ESSENTIAL OIL: distilled from the seeds; has a spicy, sweet aroma. Relieves muscular aches and pains, increases circulation, aids sleep and helps with nervous exhaustion. Found in Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL: obtained from the deep green, sickle-shaped leaves of the tree. Naturally antiseptic, clearing and stimulating. Traditionally inhaled for relief during chill or the cold season. Highly effective for muscular fatigue. Found in our Knackered Cow Range and Bullocks Muscle Rub Massage Oil.
EVENING PRIMROSE OIL: an excellent source of essential fatty acids necessary for healthy skin. Moisturises and softens the skin and hair. Found in Saucy Cow Softening Conditioner.
FRANKINCENSE ESSENTIAL OIL: balancing and relaxing; extracted from the small bush native to Africa. Renowned for its exceptional rejuvenating properties. Found in our Moody Cow Range.
GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL: extracted from the plant pelargonium. A balancing, stabilising and nurturing essential oil with a wonderfully fresh floral aroma. Helps to normalise dry and greasy skin. Found in Saucy Cow Softening Conditioner.
GINGER ESSENTIAL OIL: a spicy, warming and stimulating essential oil often used for digestive problems and nausea, as well as joint and muscle pain. Naturally antiseptic. Found in our Wild Cow Range.
GRAPEFRUIT ESSENTIAL OIL: naturally uplifting and stimulating; obtained from the peel of the fruit. Has a delightful tangy aroma that is invigorating and highly refreshing. Found in our Grumpy Cow Range and Hand Care Range.
HEMP SEED OIL: packed with omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids, which have strong soothing and healing properties and help maintain the skin's moisture levels without greasiness. When products containing this oil are applied regularly, the skin has shown an improvement of dryness, eczema, irritation and disease. Found in our Bullocks For Men Range.
JASMINE ESSENTIAL OIL: has a sweet, exotic and richly floral smell. A deeply relaxing and sensual oil renowned for its warming and soothing effects. Produces a feeling of confidence and optimism while restoring energy. Found in our Lazy Cow Range.
LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL: naturally relaxing, soothing, restorative and balancing. Eases tired and aching muscles. The rejuvenating and antiseptic qualities of this highly versatile oil are well documented. Found in our Knackered Cow Range and our Hair Care Range.

NEROLI ESSENTIAL OIL: renowned for its calming and rejuvenating effects and beneficial for dry, irritated skin. Found in our Horny Cow Range.
ORANGE ESSENTIAL OIL: extracted from the orange peel with a sweet, fresh tangy smell. Used in aromatherapy to create the feeling of happiness and warmth. Applied topically to eliminate toxins and stimulate the lymphatic system, while supporting collagen formation in the skin. Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and tonic. Found in Bullocks Smooth Shaving Cream.
PALM OIL: extracted from the fruit of the palm tree, this is an excellent soap-making ingredient, as it provides for a hard bar and gives a very big, fluffy lather. Found in our Soaps.
PALMAROSA ESSENTIAL OIL: natural cooling and toning; renowned for its healing and regenerative properties. Found in Bullocks Soothing Moisturiser.
PATCHOULI ESSENTIAL OIL: renowned for its sweet musky aroma; used in skincare for its regenerating properties. Beneficial in treating dry, itchy or mature skin. Also a natural aphrodisiac; its sensual fragrance arouses physical energies. Found in our Horny Cow Range.
PETITGRAIN ESSENTIAL OIL:obtained from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree; naturally relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating. Found in our Grumpy Cow Range, Dirty Cow Freshening Hand Wash and Bullocks Bracing Body Wash.
ROSE ABSOLUTE: a more concentrated, more fragrant version of the rose's essence than rose essential oil. Has a rich, sweet floral aroma that improves emotional well-being and is known to induce feelings of romance and love. Found in our Horny Cow Range.
ROSE GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL: similar to geranium essential oil but with a rosier smell. Helps to balance the nervous system, while lifting depression and relieving anxiety, and has a regulatory effect on the hormonal system. Also see GERANIUM. Found in our Moody Cow Range.
ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL: has a powerfully refreshing herbaceous aroma; naturally stimulating, reviving and invigorating. Wonderful for clearing the mind, increasing mental awareness, decongesting the respiratory tract and relieving muscular pain; a skin and hair booster. Found in our Wild Cow Range.
SANDALWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL: relaxing, sensual and soothing with a woody aroma. The perfect moisturising oil to use in skin care for all skin types, but especially nourishing to dry skin.
